Not Enough Space

Many times there is a case of limited space on campus to park. The commuter lots are always full and they fill up very fast so why is there not enough parking? Students that walk don't have to worry about it but students that drive have many problems. There should be at least one more commuter lot that should open and I know there were additions added on down by the union but for the people that don't walk and are late for class because of the parking, maybe put up another lot near the classroom buildings. In addition maybe some parents or relatives want to come visit and they have a parking pass, there are hardly any spots to park for those people.

People Waiting to Park

It's another day for on campus parking and it hasn't been any better. Lately i've been seeing people waiting for parking spots. They wait and wait until someone comes and leaves so they could have that parking spot. You should see the hustle and the determination on these people to get that spot. They fight over these spots, but what I don't understand is, why don't they walk? I can see if they need to go somewhere right after and they're going to be late, but if you don't have to go anywhere right after then why don't you walk? Everybody needs to exercise everyday and walking sounds great to me. So why don't you walk next time and think, it's better than rushing around trying to find a spot.

Cost of Parking

It's another day for on campus parking. I almost got ticketed today by the police woman. I saw her walking my way as I was parked in the staff lot for 2 minutes to print something out at the computer lab. I saw her coming so I booked it back to my car and when I was backing out she saw I wasn't staff. She gave me a dirty look and I snickered to myself. Also, the cost of parking is only 25 dollars for a whole year, but with tickets giving out it's 50. So you have a deal if you buy a pass, I encourage everyone to buy a commuter pass or resident pass if you plan on driving your car often. So what would you do about buying a pass? Risk it or buy one?

Campus Parking

Campus parking has become an issue at Slippery Rock University. Many people have been getting tickets and I have seen them getting tickets. Many people only spend ten minutes in one parking spot and in that ten minutes they have received a ticket. Fortunately, I have not received a ticket but have come pretty close to getting one. Campus parking is hectic and there are not enough spots on campus. So why don't people walk? Most people do walk but you always have some people that do not walk at all. Maybe someone needs to go somewhere right after class and can't afford to walk or they'll be late. If thats the case then maybe they do need a parking spot and then you have the people that can walk who park in a spot for no reason. Why do people not want to walk and exercise? It is unacceptable for those people who do not walk just for no reason. Has anyone else been a victim of no parking spots as I have?
